Christmas Terrarium Workshop

A Christmas version of our popular terrarium making workshop where guests make Christmas terrariums and terrarium baubles.

Guests establish their very own sustainable eco-system by creating a tropical “jarden” – living garden in a jar!

In the right conditions, closed terrariums create their own micro-climate, meaning they never need to be watered! Mosses and tropical plants can survive for years inside a closed jar without any help from us.

Our expert jardeners will be on hand to advise on planting techniques, how to build each layer and how to look after the terrarium afterwards so that the plants can thrive and eventually take care of themselves.

We’ll give teams festive figures to display in their terrariums, like snowmen and reindeer, so they can make a winter wonderland scene.

Guests then use the skills they have learned and make a terrarium bauble to hang on the Christmas tree!

At the end of the terrarium making workshop guests take home their Christmas terrariums and terrarium baubles to add to their Christmas decorations at home.
