Drop-in Christmas Craft Workshops
A collection of Christmas craft workshops that are perfect as drop-in attractions for Christmas parties, promotions or fun days.
Craft workshops are a relaxing and calming addition to any event, providing a “chill out” area and break from the party noise and excitement.
Guests take a mindful moment to create something either to enjoy at home or give as a thoughtful gift.
Workshops are designed to sit up to 20 guests at any one time, and activities take up to 30 minutes each, running for up to 6 hours in total.
Guests can drop-in and take part any time, without the need for structured classes or a schedule.
"Bauble Bar" Bauble Decorating
Guests visit our “bauble bar” and create their very own Christmas tree decoration.
Guests can choose from a wide range of decorations such paint pens, sequins, jewels, stickers and ribbons.
Each guest can create a bauble that is completely unique to them. They can show their personality through the design, or baubles can be personalised by adding names or initials.
Baubles are then taken away in a ribbon-tied gift box to be given as a gift or taken home to be proudly displayed on the tree for many Christmases to come!
Terrarium Bauble Making
Guests make their own living terrarium baubles.
We’ll teach guests how to create their own self-sustaining eco-system within a bauble!
Under the right conditions, a perfectly balanced closed terrarium could last a lifetime, and should never need watering. (The longest known terrarium has lasted on its own for 53 years!)
Guests take home beautiful unique bauble to give as a gift or hang proudly on the Christmas tree.
Gingerbread Decorating
Guests ice biscuits in a gingerbread decorating workshop.
With different colours and nozzles, guests can get creative with their designs before adding the finishing touches with sweets, toppings and glitter!
Cookies are then packaged up and taken away in boxes or ribbon tied treat bags so they can be given as a gift (if they make it that far!)
Scented Christmas Candle Making (Power required for wax melters)
Guests make their own hand made scented container candle using vegan, soy wax.
Guests will be guided through each step from preparing the container, arranging the wick, adding dyes and fragrances, pouring the melted wax and decorating their candles.
Guests can choose from festive fragrances like cinnamon, gingerbread, mulled wine, candy cane and Christmas tree.
Guests then leave their candles to set for 30 minutes until they have a beautiful hand-poured soy wax candle to give as a gift or to enjoy at home over Christmas.
Christmas Candle Decorating
Guests decorate their own candles.
Guests can choose from a free-standing pillar candle, dinner candles or a container candle in a jar.
They then personalise their candles using paint pens, transfers and stick-on decorations.
Guests can then take their candles to give as a gift or enjoy at home over Christmas.
Arm Knitting - Scarf
Guests learn the art of arm knitting to make a gorgeous snuggly chunky knit scarf.
We’ll teach guests how to use their arms in place of giant knitting needles in order to knit with super-sized vegan wool. And because it’s so big, you can knit a scarf in no time!
The result is a beautiful oversized handmade scarf to keep you warm in the winter or can be given as a luxurious gift.
Christmas Paint and Plant
A mix of two of our most mindful activities – painting and gardening!
Guests first paint their plant pot. They can use our stencils for inspiration or can come up with their own pictures or patterns.
We’ll then give them a festive plant to display in their pot!
Plants are then taken home in their pots and can be given as a gift or proudly displayed as part of guests’ Christmas decorations or as a table centre for Christmas dinner.
We’ll also give guests instructions on how to care for their plant so that it lasts well into the new year!
Crystal Christmas Decoration Making
Guests design and create their own crystal Christmas tree decorations.
Using jewellery making tools and techniques, guests can choose from sparkly crystals in all shapes, sizes and colours to make their decorations unique.
At the end of the activity, each guest will take home sparkly handmade decorations to give as gifts or hang on the Christmas tree.
Metal Embossed Christmas Decoration Making
Guests design and make their own Christmas tree decorations using metal embossing.
Guests can use our templates, or come up with their own designs, and can personalise them with names or messages.
At the end of the activity, guests will take home their unique decoration, designed and made by them, to give as a gift, use as a reusable gift tag or hang on the Christmas tree.
